This blog is for the LifeChurch Youth Group to explore the heart of young King David. He had a heart after God's own heart. He is the kind of worshipper God wants us to be. He was fascinated with God's beauty and the wonders of his creation. The one thing he desired most was to be as close to God as possible (Psalm 27:4).

Wait Just a Minute!

Wait just a minute! The Messiah is going to reign on David's throne? Okay, let's get this straight Jesus... the King of the Universe is going to reign on the throne of David forever and ever? This is astonishing! What an amazing covenant David had with the Lord!

Psalm 89
3 You said, "I have made a covenant with my chosen one,
I have sworn to David my servant,

4 'I will establish your line forever
and make your throne firm through all generations.' "
Selah

27 I will also appoint him my firstborn,
the most exalted of the kings of the earth.
28 I will maintain my love to him forever,
and my covenant with him will never fail.

29 I will establish his line forever,
his throne as long as the heavens endure.

Wow, Thast was a like a really BIG thing!.. To be able to have heart likes God's and to have jesus sit on a throne named after you.. And back then poeple did'nt have like a big fellowship like david did.. Liek those preist that had to go to the temple of God wants a year and clean themselves and all that stuff, and haveing the possibleity to never live on earth again after they go behind that curten.. But David had a really foundation of fellowship with God.. And david became well known for et.. Like Aberham, issik and jacob.. Its good to know that un to us a child was brought to the earth without knowing any sin he did for us so we could have relationship with God like david did.. Thast juust really Amezing!
